The Pre Screening Process
This is an exciting time indeed for authors, script and screenwriters in the entertainment industry. We are in an age of ever-changing technology, and with the expansion of cable television, there are more and more opportunities than ever before to engage and participate in script, screenwriting, and TV Spec Pilot and Spec Script writing. With this in mind, such opportunities afford an author or a screenwriter to explore the possibility of actually getting his/her concept, idea, or project on the “Big Screen” or on a major television network or cable station.
We love our clients and we are here to help you while you embark on this new exciting journey. Likewise, we are here to help you develop your concept and see your concept come to life. Furthermore, we are here to help you get your idea and vision out there so that you have the opportunity and the potential possibility to pitch your script so that your vision of your movie or series can be picked up and purchased by a producer, production company, or studio.
Knowing what “Hollywood” is looking for is only half the battle. For the most part, you must also understand that there are certain underlying themes that are typically present in most types of scripts that are pitched in the entertainment industry today. Hence, you must have a particular, specific mindset per se when entering the entertainment industry. Therefore, we pre-screen a potential client as a preliminary part of the intake process in order to make sure that his/her concept and vision are a good fit before we agree to take on that client.
